Spring 2010

This is a busy time of year for Big Rock Pottery. We are preparing for the Three Rivers Artists' Biennial Studio Tour on March 19, 20 and 21. Artists who live and work in Three Rivers, the gateway to Sequoia-Kings Canyon National Park, open their studios to the public during the Spring every other year. The self-guided tour allows visitors to enjoy the beauty of this Sierra Nevada foothill community as they spend time enjoying each studio. For more information visit threeriversartstudiotour.com.

Most of all I look forward to spending the chilly spring days inside my cozy studio, working on the creative ideas that occur inside my head. I will continue to work on the forms of jars and pitchers. I am also beginning a sculpture that will express my frustration with politicians.
